How to help change your World...
In light of the situations in the Middle East and the posibility of the US going to war in Iraq, it is extremely important that people know exactly how they can help influence the outcomes of these events, and, hence, effect the course of all Peoples' lives on Earth.
One of the most important things a person can do is contact their Representatives and Senators in the US Congress. US Congressmembers are the people who shape each and every one of our lives, and their policies will greatly effect the fate of all Humans, Animals and the Earth.
Write and call your Congressmembers and let them know how you feel, and tell them how they can best represent your views. Here is a link to Congress. You can also call 202 225 3121 or 1 800 236 5495 and ask to speak to your Congressmembers directly...

(go to "Roll Call Votes" under "Congressional Records" then follow the link to either the House or Senate.
For the House, look under "Roll Call Votes," again, and follow the link to which Congress you want [108], then click in the first column [ #'s ] for the Bill you're interested in.
For the Senate, follow the link to which Congress you want [108], then click in the first column [ #'s ] for the Bill you're interested in.) Viola !
If you feel that your Congressmembers are not representing your interests or the best interests of the American people, let them know how they can best represent your interests: and if they don't respond to your concerns, refuse to vote for them in the upcoming elections, and let them know why. Tell your friends, too.
Also, If you see someone who needs help, whether it is in your neigborhood or on the subway, please print out any information on this site which may be helpful to that person (telephone #'s, addresses, etc., etc.), and give it to them. Give them some change too, if you can afford it, so they can contact the particular agency they need.
If someone you know wants to help change the way this Earth and its' Inhabitants are being treated, tell them about 2whatend.org. Tell them that there are links here to every branch of the Federal Government and many links to branches of State and Local governments as well.
If someone you know is not happy about the way our environment is being treated, refer them to the site, there are many links here to environmental organizations that are concerned with making this world a better place!
